There are a variety of fun events scheduled over the next few months. Check them out below…

Food & Drink

Denver Restaurant Week – Denver Metro – Ongoing - Mar 5 – Take the opportunity to enjoy a multi-course meal at a new restaurant.  Over 100 Denver metro restaurants offer a fixed price, multi-course menu during the entire week.

Food Trucks at The Mill – Louisville – Ongoing – A rotation of food trucks pop-up at Louisville’s historic Mill site to serve lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Live music too! 

Whiskey Warm-Up Weekend – Estes Park – Mar 11 – Enjoy unlimited samples from 23 different distilleries at this outdoor event, which also features live music and seminars.

Sports

That Dam Half Marathon & 5k – Denver – Mar 5 - Get back into race shape with a road race around Cherry Creek Dam. 

Polar Plunge – Boulder – Mar 4 – This is a fundraising event for Special Olympics. Register as a team, collect pledges, and take a plunge into the Boulder Reservoir. The After Party is at Fate Brewery. 

Dudedad Sled Derby – Fort Collins – Mar 11-12 - Organized by the clothing company Dudedads.com, this is the 2nd annual homemade sled and race event for dads and their kids. 

Art & Entertainment

International Film Festival – Boulder – Mar 2-5 – This four-day event features local, national, and international filmmakers and attracts over 25,000 moviegoers each year. 

Rocky Mountain Train Show – Denver – Mar 4-5 - This is the largest train show west of the Mississippi. 2.5 acres of trains with 30 operating layouts. Free kids activities. Train rides too. 

Frozen Dead Guy Days – Nederland – Mar 10-12 – A must-see event. This three-day festival, held in a mountain town just west of Boulder, pays homage to the town's founder, Bredo Morstol, who remains frozen on dry ice within a Tuff Shed in the mountains above town. Events include: coffin races, polar plunge into Barker Reservoir, frozen t-shirt contests, and 30 live bands. 

AOA National Alpaca Show – Denver – Mar 17-19 –  Enjoy free admission to this event.  Breeders will compete in show ring competitions with their animals and dozens of vendors will be there to sell yarn and clothing made from Alpaca fiber as well as other crafts and goodies.
