Popular Louisville Park to be Renovated
In July, the Louisville City Council approved funding for the replacement of the Heritage Park playground. Board members cited the increasing difficulty in sourcing replacement parts for the ageing structure and the fact that it does not meet access requirements per the Americans with Disabilities Act as primary reasons for the renovation. The city selected Designscapes Colorado as the contractor for the job. The budget for the project is not to exceed $280,000. No additional information has been provided on estimated dates for demolition and construction.
